Christian Debate Academy (CDA) was established and Founded by Rev. Shafique Kanwal in 1994 in Karachi, Pakistan, with a singular mission: to defend and evangelize the Christian faith in Pakistan, Over three decades, CDA has grown into one of the largest and most respected apologetics organizations in the country.
CDA is an apologetic-based evangelical organisation dedicated to defending Christianity in Pakistan since the 1990s. We strive to provide a logical, eloquent, direct, and compassionate message of Christianity in Pakistan. We organise debates, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, apologetic seminars, and comparative study programs to help Christians gain a fuller grasp of the prevailing beliefs in our society and strengthen their steadfastness to the Holy Christian faith.
We hold to the historic Christian faith as revealed in Holy Scripture. We believe in the Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — the deity and resurrection of Jesus Christ, salvation by grace through faith, and the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God.
